Our hotel offers a warm atmosphere thanks to our unique vision, and family-oriented management. We love to spend time with our guests as it gives us the opportunity to share the warmth of our people, and Montezuma’s way of life. With an unique location, La Cascada Hotel is located between beautiful beaches, and the magnificent Montezuma waterfall. You will find a variety of fresh and salt water pools in the area. We’re also located between two protected forests.

Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve: Created in October 21st 1963, it’s the oldest protected area in Costa Rica, and the Central American region. Cabo Blanco is located within the wet tropical forest of the Nicoya Peninsula; however, it’s unique because it encloses species pertaining to the tropical dry forest of Costa Rica. Being one of the most beautiful areas in the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, Cabo Blanco is an important refuge for sea birds among many other regional flora and fauna.

Romelia Mixed Natural Wildlife Refuge: Created on November 24th, 1998, this refuge and Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve, constitute the last two reboubts of wet tropical forest, and very wet tropical forest of the entire Nicoya Penninsula region.

Come and enjoy of this paradise with us, abundant with exotic flora, and fauna in southern are of the Nicoya Penninsula.

OUR HOTEL

If you’re looking for a cozy, and quite stay then our hotel is the best place for you to stay! Being five minutes from downtown, it will give you easy-access to restaurants, shops, and supermarkets in the area. Furthermore, you will have an good shot at seeing lots of birds, butterflies, monkeys, coatíes, and exotic flora around the hotel. Relax upstairs in our hammocks, or walk to the nearby cascada.
